Don't Look BackDon't Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I swear this woman can do no wrong, this book was a major swoon fest, JLA's writing is addictive and utterly captivating and her guys are to die for!

Sam is the schools number one mean girl, well she was until her and her best friend Cassie went missing for four days and when Sam is found at the side of the road shes lost something, all her memories. From her name to who her friends and family are Sam is clueless, but people need her to remember, what happened to her and Cassie? And where is Cassie now? No one is as desperate for her to remember as Sam herself. As she rejoins her life before the incident Sam comes to realize just what kind of a person she was before, the most popular girl in school, she was the Queen bitch, cruel and manipulative her and Cassie ruled the school with an iron fist. But Sam's changed, she isnt the girl she was before, she no longer lusts after her before boyfriend Del who is a major douche nozzle and realizes her old circle of friends are just as cruel as she was. Enter Carson Ortiz, hotter than Hades and a soo swoonworthy it's unreal, he is hotness incarnate and total perfection. He sparks something in Sam, feelings so strong and good she cant resist, but she was awful to him before and it'll take some persuading to show him she's not the girl she was before. As Sam starts to regain her memories in dribs and drabs her and Carson try to piece together what happened that night, but someone doesn't want Same to remember, someone is leaving her notes to threaten or to warn her? She's not sure but one thing she does know she needs to remember what happened that night? Did she kill Cassie or was someone else there that night?

Along with the swooning romance this book has it's fill of suspense and creepy moments keeping your mind churning it's very much a who dunnit? Kinda book but in mix with awesome writing, lovable characters, with a hot romance it really is a exciting read that keeps you hooked from start to finish. A standalone treat from an incredible author and i'd recommend to any one but especially to lovers or her previous works. It really is a yummy treat.

Don't look back. You won't like what you find.
